We are a group of dedicated visual artists who regularly meet to collaborate, inspire and support each other by sharing knowledge, ideas and resources in addition to creating opportunites and public art events to exhibit and sell our art.
After years of observing the lack of a thriving arts community in the most southern part of eastern Delaware, artist friends Angela Pierce, Linda Schulte and Carol Gentes decided to reach out to the local populace to see if there were other creative people looking to form a group. Our first meeting took place in Mandy Chillemi's store, Comics and Gaming West Fenwick, Selbyville, DE on a very cold night in January 2026. Seven creative people braved the weather and the group Seacoast Arts was formed. Although our original vision has changed, many of our objectives remain, such as brightening businesses and restaurants with rotating art exhibits. As we grow, we will initiate community events and work with non-profits. Membership to Seacoast Arts is by invitation and acceptance only.
